LGS Notes: Creeping phlox is great for rain gardens, borders, and as a replacement for invasive ground covers like English ivy and vinca. Some places list this one as deer resistant but we disagree! Bunnies and deer definitely munch on this plant. While they don’t tend to eat the entire plant they can eat all the flowers off before you have a chance to enjoy them. This has done well for me in a container garden and also in pretty deep shade. There are a variety of interesting colors!
