We are a small, local landscaping, nursery and retail business in Howard County, focusing on native plantings and plant care with ecologically conscious practices. We maintain landscapes through hand weeding, pruning, edging and mulching (we do not offer lawn care services). We also install various types of landscapes as well as some natural style hardscaping such as flagstone paths, dry laid flagstone patios and small fieldstone stacked walls. Some of the types of landscapes we install include pollinator/wildlife gardens, woodland gardens, rain gardens and conservation landscapes. Additionally, we run a native plant nursery and a nature inspired, garden and goods store.
These are part-time, seasonal positions. Specific days and hours for each position are variable.
Associate General Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Regularly waters nursery, client and backstock plants as well as containers and garden beds on site

Weeds nursery, client and backstock areas in down time

Keeps nursery and parking lot area clean and presentable

Assists, directs and checks out customers in nursery, using square, as needed

Supports our retail store, Cultivate, as needed

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

Must possess a working knowledge of native plants, their preferred site conditions and basic gardening skills (Associate position only)

Candidates must have their own reliable transportation

Must be on time for work, detail oriented, listen to instructions and behave professionally
