Ingrid Melber and Weldon of Westwood Unique! Ingrid owned the church for 33 years!
We are so thrilled to share that, after a long and difficult year of weighing all of our options for alternative locations for Lauren’s Garden Service & Native Plant Nursery, my husband Kevin and I were able to purchase the Westwood Church in Ellicott City, MD where my businesses are located. Kevin currently works at Kaiser Permanente as an acupuncturist in the pain clinic. He hopes to transition to his own private practice in the near future, located at the Westwood Church building!
We are so honored and excited to pick up where Ingrid (owner of Westwood Unique) and Weldon will leave off. Ingrid will be around until early March in her current capacity. She hasn’t made any commitments yet about her future retirement plans. We think she likes to be busy and we hope she’ll be back in a smaller capacity, selling items in a smaller section of the church in the future. She needs to get a taste of retirement and see what she wants to do!

The other tenants currently at the Westwood Church building will continue on as usual and we’ll be adding a few more new tenants. We are currently talking with a potential new tenant for Ingrid’s church area that will continue with vintage/antique sales.
