We want to thank you for a very successful spring nursery season. The native plant nursery was able to transfer to an online ordering system very early on in the pandemic which allowed for increased sales. The nursery doubled 2019 sales in mid March to mid May- WOW! Thanks so much to Jessica Cohan, our new Native Plant Nursery Manager and Amy Poff, Designer and Native Plant Nursery support for processing hundreds of orders while keeping their calm.

Our nursery business usually slows down a lot after Memorial Day so we are wary of stocking up the nursery and re opening to public foot traffic. Number one it exposes us all to increased spread of germs, number two the meadowside pick up and online orders are working really well. Number three, it’s hard to keep plants healthy and watered through our HOT Maryland summers. So we’re not sure yet when the nursery will open but you can continue to order online!
