We love creating beautiful container gardens, whatever the season. These gardens work magnificently in small spaces like on decks, porches, walls or for window boxes. It’s important to select the correct plants not only for the season, but also for the location. If your container will be in a sunny location, choose the appropriate plants, and be sure to provide adequate water. If you choose flowering plants, you should know that in order to encourage blooms all summer, some of the plants require deadheading. (Deadheading is the removal of old flowers to encourage new growth or to improve the overall appearance of the plant.) Also, don’t shy away from adding edible plants!
