A Spring Garden on Lawyers Hill in Elkridge
One of our clients is an artist and amazing gardener. She has spent a lot of time on planning and planting in her garden over the years. She has a lot of unique cultivars of plants from Putnam Hill nursery and Adkins Arboretum to name a few places. I live right by this garden so I get to see it in all its glory in the spring. The whole property glows with the blooms of at least 20 different azalea shrubs of all the colors. We help weed and mulch this garden and plant plants for Wendy according to her artistic vision. Here are some photos of everything in bloom last year. Most of her property is part to full shade. Many of these plants are native and/or deer resistant. All will thrive in a shade garden. Hope this offers some inspiration!
