New Low Maintenance Backyard

Before & After

Baltimore Federal Hill Row House Garden

Our client had just recently moved into a Baltimore row house that was overgrown and uninviting, but she knew that the space had potential.  Nearly all of the existing plants were ripped out, and replaced with colorful, blooming, low-maintenance plants.  Little lime hydrangeas, red drift rose, falsecypress, and clethra replaced the overgrown shrubbery.  Gallardia, St. John’s wort, and catmint replaced the ivy.  A variety of annuals and perennials were planted into the small container gardens, and wisteria and honeysuckle were planted next to the trellises to encourage climbing.
